Sound Puzzle

 :)
Rapids transit   CANOE
High time?   NOON
Theme:  The first and last letters in phrases spell SOUND
Home theater feature and hint to {theme}   SURROUNDSOUND [the word SOUND literally surrounds the theme phrases]

 ???
Best successor of 1962   STARR [obviously a reference to the footballer, but I'm not sure I understand the clue --- perhaps Best was the name of the preceding quarterback.]

RATING:   ;D ;D Three grins = Excellent: Loved it; Two grins = Good: Enjoyed it; One grin = Satisfactory: A bit bland for my taste; One teardrop = Unsatisfying: No fun

Boy am I dumb!  I knew Ringo succeeded Best but I just locked onto Bart Starr.  Flexibility is critical in this game.  Anyway, thanks for the heads up.
