Adding a dictionary to CrossFire
« on: January 22, 2019, 10:37:27 PM »
I've googled it, I've read CrossFire's instructions, and I still can't get it.

When I download the wordlist from here, I can see AAABATTERY is in the wordlist. When I try to merge it with the CrossFire dictionary, AAABATTERY is never given as a suggestion nor can I look it up.

Any suggestions?

Ok, so I figured it out. While the answer was (embarrassingly) simple, if anyone is like me and doesn't use Macs too often, the solution is to select Crossfire-->Preferences. Simply going to the Dictionary menu will not help you and only slowly chip away at your sanity as you mumble under your breath "But there isn't any preferences option!".

But all is good now.
