I concur: A single chin-up is not a REP. The clue should have said "One of a series of chin-ups." The "boy-crazy" theme was very clever and the puzzle included only four of the usual Crosswordese words (ALOT, ELI, ERR, IRA).
"Saintly radiance" was HALO. The Merriam-Webster's Dictionary defines halo as "a circle of light appearing to surround the sun or moon and resulting from refraction or reflection of light by ice particles in the atmosphere." Paintings of saints often depict a halo, but in real life, no one, no matter how saintly, ever radiates a halo. Yes, I'm probably being overly nit-picky but that's an "eld" habit of mine.
