The Tuesday, July 06, 2021 WSJ "Put Your Foot in the Mouth" crossword by Hal Moore REALLY gave me a chuckle this morning,
I must admit. A very tastily creative job, Hal. And kudos to editor Mike Shenk for choosing this true beauty!
I recall having fun creating one in the past focused on Chinese dishes.
The idea came to me after we - family and friends - enjoyed a sumptuous Chinese lunch
at a new restaurant for us that we all tried for the first time
I took the menu home for homework and it certainly helped me in the theme construction,
with even some new filler words i used, going downwards !
