Want to post a puzzle
« on: June 09, 2010, 03:42:14 AM »
Hello all,

I am new to this, and would like to post a puzzle to be critiqued. However, I only have the demo version of CC and don't know if that allows me to post the puzzle on here. I was originally using Microsoft programs (Excel and Visio) to make my crosswords, but I doubt that those formats would be desirable to many. Please let me know what I need to do to make a .puz file.

Thanks!
Jeff

Jeff, you can create a puzzle in the .puz format by using the free AcrossLite software.  In AcrossLite go to > Help > How To ... (For Authors and Publishers) > Create an Across Puzzle.  This gives you a link to download a PDF version of the AcrossLite manual.  It's a pretty straightforward, simple process.
