Possible Title: Saturday “31”
Good Ones:Become a patsy BITE [as in “I’ll bite”]
Groom's bagful OATS [not the marrying kind, the horseman]
Bobs, e.g. DOS [as in hairdos]
...and good cluing throughout --- some, like
bob, are a test of diction from generations ago.
By the Way:The two Shakespearean references are both obscure, especially PALEFIRE which I didn’t know [making it obscure?], but FLEANCE you’d know if you studied
Macbeth closely. Anyway, they’re welcome in my book. I also appreciated the Hobbs quote.
Who knew?:From the sublime to the ridiculous, TRE was the name of a character in a totally inconsequential movie clued by a less than frontline actor. (I’d almost, but not quite, rather go with the Italian for three.)
Some Nits to Pick:FANDOM means a blog’s readership? --- maybe some or most are fans. I wouldn’t think that those who are reading this were fans --- idly curious, maybe.

RATING:

Three grins = Loved it; Two grins = Enjoyed it; One grin = A bit bland for my taste; One teardrop = Not much fun
