THEME: five phrases meaning "duplicate" [interesting that the phrases are of appropriate length]
GOOD ONES: Rest of the afternoon NAP
Forward-looking claim ESP
Hardy lass TESS [oldie but goodie --- so is Tess]
BTW: Tijuana tots NENES [Why would English speakers know this term, and why not clue it "Hawaiian birds"?]
I don't believe I ever saw or heard "would
I LET you down," but in any event it is not a familiar expression. Would "go to the" be an acceptable answer to the clue "let's ___ store"?
Driller's letters DMD [What is this? I had ADA and was forced to write-over my neatly printed black ink lettering!]
RATING:

Three grins = Loved it; Two grins = Enjoyed it; One grin = A bit bland for my taste; One teardrop = Not much fun
