Title: sexting

Sexting has become a huge issue these days. Laws, crimes...
I think I know the answer to this, but does anyone think that "sext" would be an acceptable word?

Surprise!  SEXT has already been used three times in the NYT to refer to a text message, and SEXTS and SEXTED have been used once each.

However, no other mainstream editor seems to have used them yet, so keep that in mind.

Ben Tausig of the Ink Well has used "SEXT" twice, and 5 times in the NYT.  Seems like fair game to me! :-)
